Transylvania Times Article-April 2005

"A Class Act" "After four years of our contractor dragging his feet, walking off the job unfinished, leaving various expensive tools and still being owed a modest amount of money, we can now claim to have been a full-time resident for over a year just south of beautiful Brevard.

About three months ago, our slate lined shower developed a leak going into a downstairs room. I called the contractor and asked him what he would do about it. He said he would fix it for about five times what it finally cost for the repair.

This actually is not what this letter is all about. I called the plumbing sub-contractor asking for help and Chuck Hafner showed up the next day. He gave me the name of an excellent tile setter. When the tile setter showed Chuck what had caused the problem (the contractor had cut through the shower liner), he said they would pay for the whole thing since it involved the plumbing, even though they were not directly responsible. I received a check two days after the shower was fixed from Randall Blythe, President of B & B Plumbing of Pisgah Forest, NC for all my expenses.

What a CLASS ACT!! Isn't it wonderful to run across a firm that still knows what business ethics really are. I am truly in their dept and recommend them highly.

If you want the name of a contractor you do not want to use, give me a call. I am in the phone book.
